After fishing with Jmax last week and seeing him catch many bass I got the bug to try some bass fishing today. Put in at Harrison Bay SP and was fishing by 9am (really too late for mr. bass but tried for about 3 or 4 hours and only caught 1 lm bass about 2#. Gave up on Mr. Bass and went for some supper type fish, shooting docks for crappie, caught 20 crappie in about an hour or so and brought 10 home for supper. The lone bass was caught on a zoom green plastic crawfish, I also threw cranks and sb baits but no hits. The crappie were caught with panfish assasins in a couple different shad colors dipped in chartruce with 1/32 oz jig heads. Most fish were in about 10 - 12 ft of water and on about 7 count. emoGeezer It did rain for a little while and I kept hearing thunder so I headed back to the dock only to be flagged down by a boater stranded with motor trouble so I pulled him back to HB dock. The rain went around us. A great day to be on the water.
