Was on the water at about 03:30 pm South marina, (they are checking for passes and charging now) There was a yellow boat trying to get its motor started, and using a bucket to remove water [frown] (lots of water in the boat), and some other boats leaving the same time. Myself and a buddy that fishes Willard a lot, decided to try the area of the Island (now under about 14 feet of water) We were going to go to an area that has proved successful for us for this time of year, but decided to try someplace else, As we slowed the boat down to trolling speed, and let the lines out, my friend Doug got a HIT [Image: happy.gif], Wiper on (time was 03:50pm) Wiper was about 19”, still heading South West, I got a HIT [Image: happy.gif] a huge wiper of 23 ½ “, Keep both for a nice meal later on.
As the saying goes if you catch them early you will be jinxed, and we were, not a single hit for the sunlight hours.[frown]
We decided to head over to Freeway bay, we trolled till the sun went down, and then the action started, at one time we had 3 wiper on the same time [Smile] (3 poles out), for a total of 7 Wiper and 2 crappie, 5 were caught at the time the sun was in the water.
Sorry about no photos, I forgot the camera, [Image: bobmad.gif] (When you forget the camera you get the fish) Doug took the photos with his phone and when he sends them to me and I will attach them to this post.

THANKS
The biggest one I ever caught was 24 1/2 "
It seems the big ones hang out in the deep areas SW of the light poll, I do not get as many hits at the light poll area but there nice size when they do hit, the smaller ones seem to be at Freeway bay with more hits smaller fish.
