Lot's of little bass hiding in the junk. Caught roughly 30-35 bass but only eight of them measured 14-15". There was ten of us fishing and the biggest bass caught was 16 1/4". Temps were 67-71*. The bass seemed like they were spawned out and the bluegill we're getting active. I never did see any crappie.
I can't believe a reservoir that size allows that many ski boats. We launched Saturday at sun up and it was beautiful, come 12:00 there were at least seven ski boats and four wave runners. With each pass they kept getting closer [mad].
I was going to camp there but everyone was crammed in like fat chicks at a Ricky Martin concert so we stayed at a place by the river with the rest of the guys. I won't be going back to Glendale.
On a side note, I was informed by a buddy about some mussel sticker??? I bought my non-resident license online and I never saw anything about any sticker. One of our club members jumped through hoops trying to get a sticker in Preston, he was unable to get one. Long story short and not trying to cause trouble but if Idaho is concerned about invasive species they need to get their s*** together. I bought a non-resident two day fishing license online and was not informed about any special stickers or regulations but I was charged a 'convenience' fee for buying online. I looked around the fish and game website and found nothing. There was no indication at all about any other required licenses, stickers, etc. Good luck Idaho [crazy].
A suggestion to those who fish in Idaho, call the powers that be at Idaho f&g and tell them to update their website to include the quagga/zebra mussel initiative. I don't think I'll be headed up to Idaho anytime soon [frown]

I think everyone has voiced how they feel about the stickers coming out in the middle of the year but from what i have heard it doesnt have anything to do with the f&g.

Us Utahans that fish idaho voiced how we felt like we are bad mouthed by idahoans for using there waters. Its that kind of stuff that makes the idahoans mad.

Not looking for a fight but i am the first to jump on the idahoan for bad mouthing or talking smack. So i guesse i better be the first on the Utahans.

I don't know that I want to really go back to Glendale either. Those ski boats are obnoxious, and there's always somebody there with a huge sound system vibrating the whole place. I wish all those little lakes in the area were no wake.

Well i was one of them camped there but when i got there thursday, there were only 2 other campers and i thought ok this is cool, I hadnt been there since last spring, other than an ice fishing trip. And wow was I surprised like everyone has said that by noon, and maybe a little earlier you better be off the water if ur in anything smaller than a 22 foot wake borad/ski boat or they will sink you. One thing of concern that we all need to be aware of is these big boats are starting to wash out the dam face and one of these days, they will drain glendale to do dam repairs and we will loose one hell of a fishery.

As for the noxious weed sticker, like it was said we all have voiced our concerns over this program to no availe, but i fished saturday on Twin and both F&G and franklin county sheriff was on the water in boats and talked to both, and the take I got was they were in the information mode right now but, come toward middle to end of June, they will be in the enforcement mode. So, every one better have the sticker wheater we like it or not.

I fished hard for 3 days on glendale and caught only a few crappie and no gills, im surprised that ya caught some, or were you just seeing them in the brush, I saw a ton of crappie and gills in the brush but they wouldnt bite and on thursday, the water was 62 at the upper end of resevoir so its on the warm up.

Good luck to all.

I'm so not a morning person. I really need to work on getting on the water earlier though. I guess you haven't gone to bed yet when you hit them so I guess you're even more of a night owl than I am [Wink]
