Lot's of little bass hiding in the junk. Caught roughly 30-35 bass but only eight of them measured 14-15". There was ten of us fishing and the biggest bass caught was 16 1/4". Temps were 67-71*. The bass seemed like they were spawned out and the bluegill we're getting active. I never did see any crappie.
I can't believe a reservoir that size allows that many ski boats. We launched Saturday at sun up and it was beautiful, come 12:00 there were at least seven ski boats and four wave runners. With each pass they kept getting closer [mad].
I was going to camp there but everyone was crammed in like fat chicks at a Ricky Martin concert so we stayed at a place by the river with the rest of the guys. I won't be going back to Glendale.
On a side note, I was informed by a buddy about some mussel sticker??? I bought my non-resident license online and I never saw anything about any sticker. One of our club members jumped through hoops trying to get a sticker in Preston, he was unable to get one. Long story short and not trying to cause trouble but if Idaho is concerned about invasive species they need to get their s*** together. I bought a non-resident two day fishing license online and was not informed about any special stickers or regulations but I was charged a 'convenience' fee for buying online. I looked around the fish and game website and found nothing. There was no indication at all about any other required licenses, stickers, etc. Good luck Idaho [crazy].
A suggestion to those who fish in Idaho, call the powers that be at Idaho f&g and tell them to update their website to include the quagga/zebra mussel initiative. I don't think I'll be headed up to Idaho anytime soon [frown]
