I have not done a turnement yet wondering how we check our fish in each hour? what time are they going to let us in? After the fish is recorded as caught can we release? Is it per boat or per person? Is "the big fish" weight or length?

Where will the (day of) registration take place? Is there a certian shore location? Also, how many people are projected to attend this event? Have you put up your flyer?

there is a lodge/store there and that would be where you register. they will be able to supply you with official rules.Registration is untill 1:00. my scanner doesn't work right now or i would scan a flyer. there is usually 75plus boat i would guess.
BTW i fish from sunup until noon today and boated 25 plus fish.

The correct time on the tournament is from 6am to 7 pm

yes at echo reservoir, they planted it very heavily this spring. But that is not uncommon this time of year up there.

i was out as well.. didnt do so well.. caught prob 40 fish only one over 18"[:/] it was tough...

hey "onehun" did your boat get a spoon stuck on another boats down rigger cable and almost get ran over by a pontoon while in the process by chance??
[signature]
nah man we didnt use any spoons or have any problems like that. we did about the same as you . LOTS of fish but no size every other time out there ive caught many bigger but not yesterday. Ive never done a tourney that was preety crazy with all the people fishing out there huh.

Way to go on third place Trophyboat, would you mind sharing what type of lure you caught yours fish on? Thanks
[signature]
WH2 you can see the lure in the picture hangn out of the browns mouth.

Nice Brown Trophyboat and way to place in the derby[fishon]

Thanks, I guess I need to put on my glasses when I'm looking at pictures[crazy].

yeah we totally struggled... tried every method every depth.. everything i could do to get into a larger fish... and nada... lol it was the first time i have been to echo and not caught a brown as well [crazy]

it was definitly tough... never really an issue for me up there.... it was strange..

and the reason i was asking is there were a few boats that were totally rude and didnt care what direction we were trolling... they would speed there troll up and cut us off or come within feet of us!!! run over our long lines and all kinds of whacky stuff... but only a couple people tho... and most were very courteous and respectfull of others..
