I finally get tomorrow free to take my little girls and her friend out. She's been dying to get out fishing as long as I have, I bet...
So tomorrow, Tuesday 6/9/09, what's your best advice, taking into account.....
the likelyhood of thunderstorms,
wanting to catch edible species of "keeper": fish, with probable success,
and only having about noon til dark?
My first thought is Mantua, because bluegills are easy to catch, but VERY likely to rain us out.....
Jordanelle, because bass & perch are easy to catch, but walking access is a pain, and rain likely...
U.L., because the white bass should be still biting...but I don't know the lake well, and the drive is a tad longer.....
E.C. because bass and crappie are likely quarry for kids, but again, mountain thunderstorms,
Or Willard, because little cats and crappie would be good for kids to catch... but my own record there is kinda dismal, or at least hit-n-miss.
We have a canoe, but if it's stormywe probably won't use it.
I've been buried in work for about 20 days straight, so I'm only half in the loop.
Somebody nudge me in one direction, would ya?
