I plan to be a Camp Hunt, the Boy Scout camp on the west side of Bear Lake next week with the troop. Is it worth trying to bank fish along there? What does anyone suggest? Flies trolled behind a bubble, spinners, spoons? I told the scoutmaster I might take the small boat, but it might be more hassle to launch it at the marina than it is worth. How much do they charge to launch at the State Park marina now? Any private access to the lake there available? Anyone else going to be there in the area that may want a hitch hiker for a few hours the week of June 15-20th? Acey

Al, I would say only luck you would have from shore on the West side is from the rocks at the Marina? I would throw big spoons or castmasters ,jakes or that type of hardware! You may pick up a nice cutt this time of year?? I would say about 7-8$ to launch? I have a state park pass so i dont even look at the price!! Good luck.

If I can get away for a day I might explore Bloomington Lake in the mountains west of St. Charles, Idaho. I have never been there. I looks like I will leave the boat home so I may check out the fishing at the State Marina like has been suggested. Thanks, Acey
