Heading for Yuba in mid July for a week. Would like to go after The Eyes and Pike, ANY suggestions?

well the pike and walleye have been hard to come by the last while.. i hope it picks up soon.. the last 3 trips i have takin out i have hit 4 eye's and 2 pike.. if i were you i would try trolling some perch colored stuff that looks like.. see attached pic's..

I have not caught a northern since i left Michigan, Cauught a couple tiger Muskys at Pineview thru the ice. Both were small,
Also noted the hand painting of the lures in the second picture, Brought back great memiores of my old man and i back in the 70's going after Northern in Canada. I cant thank you enough, Ever make it up the Ogden way, Il, take you to willard after wiper.
