I read about nesbitt lake in a fishing guide, has any one heard any thing about it or fished it recently?

Nesbit is starting to weed up pretty heavily, making shore fishing very hard. Small boats or tubes are best. Fished Nesbit couple weeks ago. 3 of us caught a mix of bass, bluegill and crappie, most fish were small. Bass were hitting frogs, gitzits, smaller bodied spinner bait, and wacky rigged 4-5" senkos. Caught gills and crappies on 1.5" paddle tail grubs and mix of small jigs. Water is a little cooler still there and bass were in a mix of pre-spawn, spawn and post-spawn activity when we fished. You'll catch a lot of fish there but little size. If looking for big ones head to Sand Hollow Res in Utah roughly same drive time, bigger fish and better eat spots after done fishin.
