<br /> Hit the Chick after work today around 7:15 and headed to the &amp;quot;spot&amp;quot;. Jmax called me on the ride home and told me they were stacked in the spot again today. Alvin tagged along to get a mess of Crappie. All was going to plan until I came off plane and droped the trolling motor. Nothing. Dead. Fooled around with it for a little while and gave up. We tried fishing with no motor but just could not stay where we need to. Ended the day with 7 crappie (1 keeper), 3 keeper spots, 2 small LM, and 5 bluegill. <br /> Took out and found one of the wing nuts was loose on the battery. Go figure. Tigtened it up and works like new. At least it was a minor problem. <br /> Going back one day this week with Alvin to try it again with a working trolling motor.
