Just time for a quick post. I managed to get away for just a couple of hours with Drumking today. We never found the Mother Lode in the short time we had to hunt... but of course DK can always find crappie somewhere.<br /><br />I held my own early on today... I think I even got one or two fish up on him for a short time. But I think he was sandbaggin&#39; because at the end of our little excursion he turned it on and of course, whipped me. We quit with 29 crappie total... DK 18 and me 11. Someday when I grow up I might be able to keep up with him. emoWorthy <br /><br />Had fun watching him do battle with a mean old channel cat, and on what spot we eached hooked nice bass (at the same time) ... mine was VERY nice. Sadly both fish wasted little time wrapping us each around dock pilings and making good their respective escapes.<br /><br />Tomorrow me and DK are going to hit the tailwaters. My turn to &quot;guide&quot; and see if I can get slimed on a few blues, which means life is good and gettin&#39; better every day!<br />
