I went up to Park City to unload some baits this afternoon and it only made sense to take the boat with me and fish Jordanelle. I'm glad I did. Water temps up near 63* and the bigguns are coming out to play. I was throwing my hand poured stickbaits trying to get some pictures of bass caught on them and it worked quite well. I never measured or weighed any fish but my biggest was guesstimated at around 5 lbs.+ picked off a bed and carefully released and it went right back to the same 'secret' [angelic]spot. Temperatures are stabilizing as well as water level but watch out for floating debris.
There were some guys fishing for trout from the shore that didn't have any luck, I think they were using worms.
I had some feisty hit and runs that I never hooked, I'm thinking it must have been perch so they might be moving in to shallower water as well.
If anybody is interested in some stickbaits for the bass send me a pm.

P.S. The date on my camera is wrong but I'm just glad it still works after the last rainstorm.

Nice work! You went by me last evening. I was in the green float tube, and I saw you hook up on that toad. No worries, your secret spot is safe with me[Wink]. I had a pretty good numbers evening, but didn't score any real toads. (this time[Wink]) Almost all of mine were in the 11-14 in. category with a few rats.

Nice fish. I hope you left that silly shirt at home.

LMAO! What kind of bass fisherman would I be if I didn't have an obnoxious shirt to wear?

You sure can move in that tube! I looked over my shoulder and you were an easy 200 yards away in just a couple minutes.

Those are some repectable fish but i'm going to have to assert my Jordanelle bank fishing skills over you bass boaters because I am a poor boatless boy. I have an old cell phone with cancelled service and a nice picture of a sweet 24 inch smallie at Hailstone last summer stored on it. I wish I knew how to get it online because it was definitely my biggest so far. Would you believe i've got a seven foot sturgeon pic on there too? It sucks being poor because you can't afford a digital camera to back your fish stories. Anyhow, good job with the wacky rig.[Smile]
