I went up to Park City to unload some baits this afternoon and it only made sense to take the boat with me and fish Jordanelle. I'm glad I did. Water temps up near 63* and the bigguns are coming out to play. I was throwing my hand poured stickbaits trying to get some pictures of bass caught on them and it worked quite well. I never measured or weighed any fish but my biggest was guesstimated at around 5 lbs.+ picked off a bed and carefully released and it went right back to the same 'secret' [angelic]spot. Temperatures are stabilizing as well as water level but watch out for floating debris.
There were some guys fishing for trout from the shore that didn't have any luck, I think they were using worms.
I had some feisty hit and runs that I never hooked, I'm thinking it must have been perch so they might be moving in to shallower water as well.
If anybody is interested in some stickbaits for the bass send me a pm.
P.S. The date on my camera is wrong but I'm just glad it still works after the last rainstorm.
