Went up to Anderson on 06/20. Fishing was fair. Landed 30 Kokes between 3 of us. Lost 7-8 (naturally). They were pretty good sized for Anderson this time of year. Most were around 12-15. A few bigger, a few smaller.
Rain blew through in the morning but didn't stick around long.
The Kokes really went after the 2 blade silver pop gear with reflective stickers, wedding ring, and shoepeg.

I've never been there. Looks like a beautiful area. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome. It's good to touch base with other local fisherman.
Anderson is a beautiful area. This is what I woke up to Saturday morning:

Thanks for the report.
Those Kokes are the perfect size for the smoker. Looks like I need to plan a trip over to Anderson.

Welcome, koke killer and thanks for the report! AR is a beautiful spot on this earth. Haven't been this year but the Lime Creek "racetrack" is always a hot spot. Lucky Peak is still slow from my perspective. Too much unsettled water and no schooling to speak of although the fish are decent size. I've got just 4 fish each of my last two trips; all were 14 to 16 1/2".
Now that we are "maybe" into summer things should pick up.
I need to make the drive to AR before too much longer...

Fished Anderson Friday and Lucky Peak Sunday. We caught lots of really small fish at Anderson. 8 to 11 inches was average with a few 12 to 13 inchers to keep it interesting.
Lucky Peak was another story. Larger fish but fewer of them. We ended up with 8 fish for 8 hours fishing. Too rough to continue with all the boat traffic and lunacy. Just about got run into twice. I'll go back during the week.
