We are heading up to the "D" this weekend. Either for one day or the weekend (got to deliver a boat)
Going to do some OUTLAW FISHING....you or anyone else up to it?

That maybe be possible. I will talk to a few friends at work that have been wanting to hit the D again and get back with ya.

Let me know...I could bring extra Hot Dogs easily enough.

Everytime you come to Idaho it seems like I am going to be at a wrestling tournament. I want to watch you use your slip indicator system. O'well maybe next time.

Well, it was a great day to go fishing. The weather was perfect even tho the fishing was very, very slow and no keepers. I believe now that there are no big fish in the D. I did learn a few things from FG which was great. I also met Poky-Mon which was cool. I got to see the famous "Bendo" and the reason some ones name is FG. My friend did not catch any thing and it was not from lack of trying, but he was good company. The place was crowded. Overall it was a good day just to be out enjoying the weather. Maybe next year there will be bigger fish in the D.

i see someone besides me has a martin multiplier with mono..are you striping and flippin or trolling with it..i have 2 that still work and lots of spare parts..

Actually I was doing neither. I was deep nymphing with the mono. The reel I bought at Ski's Gun shop along with the rod when he was closing out all of his fishing gear about 7 or 8 years ago. It is the first Real fly rod and reel I ever bought. I do not mind using the reel, but I prefer my Orvis a lot more mainly because the drag is so much smoother..

Thanks for the pics. It does look busy. Danials can only come back with added enforcement and getting the word out the violaters will be prosecuted.

I love your pontoon set up. I hope to get something similiar in the next couple of years.

Good Job

PRVRT. Great fishing with you. Hard to believe we have the same boat[laugh]
The fishing was terribly slow so everyone should just find some other place to fish for awhile[Sad]
Bugs cover the water and it is very warm (water temp that is).
I think I threw everything I had at these guys to get them to play.
They did still like the Chironomids thank gawd.

It was mentioned on another post, but for the record, these are KAMLOOP for the most part and they will put up a fight unlike anything else.
