I fish on king harbor, seal beach and long beach, but for some reason havent had to much luck, thanks macfly.

at least one of our members here tuben2 is very familiar with those waters.. he has been busy lately but is due for a checkin soon.. hopefully he will be able to give you more insight than I can..

you may want to also post your questions/concerns on that saltwater forum.. loads of good anglers there that may be able to help you...
