Hey all! Well I'm taking the fam up to island park this weekend (thurs-sun), and I'm hoping to do some fishing. I'll be taking my boat.
Well I'd just like any good info for someone who is never fished either lake.....
I've looked up and understand the different regulations, so no need for that info, but and pointers for catching a few decent fish would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I'd love to know what boat ramp to use at henry's lake??? Is there a difference in charges?
I plan on docking the boat on Island Park Res. @ the Lakeside Lodge ramp, at least thats where I was thinking to do it.....

I haven't heard much specific information lately, but at Henry's the damesel hatch should be starting soon. At Island Park I would try Trudes Bay.
There are probably people on here that are more up to date than I am with that area.

At Henry's Lake State Park they charge $ 3.00 . At Island Park Res. If you don't do good in Trudes try west end on the fingers . On the Idaho fish and game report they said that is where they are doing best . I will be fishing there tomorrow and maybe Thursday . I will post when I get back . As for Henry's 3 of my friends limited out in 45 minutes . Fishing from the bank in Goose bay with nightcrawler and marshmallow . That was last Saturday .
