me and my dad just moved here 2 months ago and i keep hearing about good fishing at 33 hole. but i cant seem to find directions at mapquest or gps.
can anybody help me on how to get 33 hole?

if you look in the post with the topic of something about an inflatable raft there is a map of lake mead and hole 33 is on there.
Hole 33 can be good sometimes. You can go there and get skunked also to fish for stripers. It has happened to me many times. I have better luck catching carps and catfish on corn consistently. the water is shallow there now. Maybe early morning would be good, on the water at 4 am.

From henderson you just go through the lake mead park entrance part where they get the money off of you (it's really cheap so no worries there) then you keep driving basically, don't take the turnoff not long after the booths just keep heading straight, after a while you see a sign saying "33 hole overlook" or something similar.
Just head in there, park up and it's about a 15 minute scramble to the water.
another good option is government wash, you take the turnoff just after the booths and head along for about ... ten minutes or so? there's a turnoff there to government wash, you drive over to the other side of the concreted car park and go down the gravel road there. you'll see the RV's

I think its a less of a hassle fishing from shore. You cant get to those mid lake spots or shores where no roads are nearby without a boat.. but you also dont have to worry about Launching the boat, gas, quagga mussels. So its easier to shore fish imo.
