Trying to recruit my friends to go to Owyhee Reservoir this weekend. We usually hit up the snake around Celebration Park or Swan Falls, but this year we have just been plain flooded out!

Any good reports out of Owyhee? We will be on foot, so no boat access :o( I have heard great things about this reservoir, but they are being wimps because of the extra hour it takes to get there!!!

Any good news/tips for bass fishing out there is greatly appreciated!

Sorry man, don't know a whole lot about Owyhee. Have fished it several times and always did ok from the boat. Fishing from the shore you have too choose - lower end by the damn or upper end at Leslie Gulch. I'm sure you can catch Bass at either but I would lean to Leslie. I like the drive and it's not as crowded. You can hike up river quit a ways but not much structure. Watch for snakes at either end if your hiking much! Well thats my opinion but take it for what it is. Your call - good luck and let us know how you do.
