Well spent the day at Glendale, started out with overcast, cloudy and looked like it was going to rain, wind was up but not bad, Started off with a bang nailing a few crappie then it all stopped till around 1030 -11. then I got into a nice hole and got a couple huge bluegill and some more crappie and of course one bow swallowed the hook so had to bring him home. These were all on red and white crappie jigs. then it shut off again and nothing till about 230. then I changed to a chartruse jig and hit another huge gill and 2 huge perch. I took pics but still trying to figure out how to size them so Ill post them tomorrow.

Still very very slow, but water is warm, had a hard time fidning them and a few others on the water didnt do much either. Not sure whats happening other than water is way high still. Should improve over next couple days i think but who knows its fish lol.

Sounds like you got a nice variety at least. It seems like all the waters in the area are fishing kind of weird lately with scattered and hard to find fish. All this hot weather should get it going. I hope. I want the fish to get back up into the brush.

Ok i think i have the pics to the proper size? if not i tried and i applogize to all.

The gills are all much larger than my hand and from finger tip to just past my wrist, didnt have a ruler but, i measured at home approximate size and would have been about 9+ inches on all of them and like a hub cap coming up, mand did they hit, the largest of the perch was in my estimate and just a guess 13+ inches the smaller one was around 11, very nice fillets

Those are some nice looking fish. I may have to head up there. How were the water skiers?

actually the skiers were not hardly around, only 2 boats on late and the really didnt bother me, but i left around 3 or so. I imagine with the warmer week coming they will be all over. I was on the water by 7. Good luck to all, they should be on the increase.
