So I had told Cliff we would get on in my boat for some mid lake fishing. Well we did, but as soon as I got to the ramp I could see rollers from the wind. NOt good with my dinky trolling motor. Went to plan be, fish where we could get out of the wind. Won't mention where it is but the fish were there, they just were not huge. We caught 3 shorties and then landed I think is my PB bass so far. On the ol de-liars it weighed in at close to 4.75, but from my experience with my scales and the weighin scales it probably would have been 4.5lbs. It measured 20". It nailed a spinnerbait as I was reeling it back to the boat. Of course my camera would not work and Cliffs phone for some reason did not store it. But hey I got a witness, it was a nice bass for sure. So after one more fish and then some dead time I decided it looked like the wind was slowing down so we would head out to fish somewhere else. Took off and the motor revved and died. I started it again and try to go and noticed it quite peeing at that same time. It would not pee anymore, so we trolled back to the ramp. About how it goes in the monarch, it just so happen to be when I had a guest in the boat. Cliff it was good to meet you, and I had a good time, we will get out there again sometime when I get the boat running again. Sorry for the crazy evening. I caught one more while trolling back on a drop shot.
