Today I took my son Jacob and Dan, the Youth Pastor from our church fishing to salmon dam. We were all fishing in tubes and hit the water at 6:00am. I got the smell of skunk off me from last week in shot order. A feisty SMB hit my jig and it was on. The water was 65 degrees and as soon as it hit 67 we were all getting hit. After some searching I got a couple of walleyes, and a couple of perch. Then we split up and went on a search. I met up with Jacob at noon and he had a big time with SMB's but nothing else. I had 8 SMB's 3 Walleyes, and 2 perch. The wind was kicking up so we headed for the truck.
Dan the YP, came in about 3:00 and he had a BIG day. He had landed 40 SMB's 2 perch and 6 Walleyes.
