started out of grasshopper creek around 7:30 and headed across to sale creek where we picked up 8 of our keepers, one being just shy of a tarp , in 28 fow on a 15 count with a 1/32 oz jig . color of choice today was a pan assassin smoke shad
followed closely by the BG electric chicken. the bite was VERY subtle most of the time you never felt a thing just pick up the slack and a fish would be there.
picked up quite a few throwbacks there too but the bite died down around 10am did a little exploring in sale creek trolling a little crankbait behind us and picked up 2 small LM
4 bluegill and a nice white bass. didnt get a single crappie trolling emoScratch .

went out to the main lake and hit a few docks between sale creek and soddy creek with only shorts (30-40) to show for the effort and a big gouge in the gunwale of my bullet from a metal piece of a dock and a wave i didnt see emoDoh emoDoh emoDoh emoHoppingmad emoDoh emoDoh emoDoh

i was ready to go put the boat on the trailer by 12pm ( still emoHoppingmad ) but we decided to hit one more dock that had been good to us the past couple of trips.

we chose wisely ..... although we pulled lots of shorts of of it (and had a blast doing it ) we also pulled in a double with keepers emoBigSmile with williams being a HOF worthy 12-1/2 inches emoParty
that makes 3 trips in a row that william has had HOF crappie in the boat emoParty

i felt a little better after that and it was time to go anyway so we headed home around 2pm

oh water temp was mid 80's with not a lot of flow .

10 keeper crappie and 60 or so shorts is a pretty good day for us emoBigSmile
