Picked up Fishound and headed to willard. Got on the water at 6:45am and left at 4:30pm. Long day but good fishing today. We caught 5 Wipers, 1 Walleye & 2 catfish. Chuck caught a nice 22" wiper that put up a nice fight... Thanks for the company Chuck....

Looks like we should have stayed all day, too. We were there today but left at noon having only caught wipers. Nice pictures and a good variety.

Thanks, we trolled all day 2.3 - 2.5 mph on GPS. I lost a wiper and a catfish but caught 3 wipers and 1 walleye. I had the secret lure today. It caught 6 fish, my other lure that was changed out many times never got a bite.....

It was a wallmart bought crank on sale for $2.00 if I remember right... I will take a pic in the morning and post it..... Trailed behind the boat in the prop wash about 50-60 yards back..... Seemed to work for me today.... Two other poles set in rod holders out to sides. My pole in the rod holder never had a strike today....

thanks for sharing. Its funny how the lures on sale or that arent that popular can catch fish as well. I think it is all about having confidence in what your doing and in the lure. It is always fun to find something that works that is not generally used or advertised or even spoken about. I think I really want to start trying some new methods and presentations I already have a few in mind that should be killer for most species. It includes bottom bouncing and floating crank baits.

[#008000]You forgot to mention that wiper and catfish that got off at the boat that were also caught on the secret lure, I believe. I think all 4 of my fish came in on different lures, so I never found one that was hot.[/#008000]

[#008000]Oh, don't you dare post a picture of that secret lure - at least until I can get to Walmart and scoop up one for myself. LOL ! [/#008000]

[#008000]We saw a couple BFT folks (Fairwayphil at put in, and Swedishfish at take out) there at the marina and said howdy and chatted for a few. I also thought I recognized the boats of other BFT folks but we never got close enough to talk. I think sewfish at launch, and Troll on the water, were 2 of those we saw. [/#008000]

It was good seeing you again Fishhound. That sure was a nice 22 incher you had.
I'll have to post a full report when I get near a computer (doing this on my phone) with some pics of my kids and wife with their fish.
I'm curious to see the Walmart lure. I bought a crank bait last year at Walmart that looked pretty much identical to a producer.
