I finally got a chance to do some 'real' bass fishing... hitting the lake at daybreak emoTongue ... I believe this is the first time in the last 2 months emoBang

We headed out looking for those schoolers people have been talking about.... we didn't find much, but saw a few at a time. Only pulled 2 or 3 out of the jumps, all around 13" ... not much to talk about. We spent some time on ledges with carolina rigs, jigs and crankbaits and found a few keeper fish emoSmile Nothing huge, but we fished until lunch and caught 25 or so fish with half being keepers. Best 3 were probably only around 9ish pounds. Water temps we saw were around 83, fish we caught were in depths between 10 and 22 feet on ledges close to deeper water. Bite was subtle on most strikes... just loading up. Caught 1 small fish on a dropshot, but saw a lot on the LCD... schools of baitfish were at varying depths, anywhere from 8 FOW to 18 .... Lost 2 fish that may have made a difference ... that just keeps you coming back emoCool
