Sometimes I don't always have time to head up Big Cottonwood Canyon and was wondering if anybody has fished it in the city lately.
I know people used to fish it by the old Cottonwood mall (and it still looks tempting). It then runs along Big Cottonwood Regional Park. Has anybody ever fished there, the backside of Big Cottonwood Regional Park?
Detention Basin Park is across the street and it looks like Big Ditch Canal is no longer there (or it's underground). However, from what I can see in google maps it looks like there is a small pond there. Anybody ever been there? If so what's the fishing like?
