well being in europe for the 4th does have its benefits.... 3 day weekend to be exact. so a coworker offered a suggestion... thursday night lets get real liquored up and think of something to do on saturday the 4th. well after many adult beverages we came to the conclusion that we would hike up a massivly steep canyon in Interlaken Switzerland, and jump off cliffs, water falls, and shoot down runs wearing only a helmet specially made for Trout_Slayer, and a guide vest. how was i going to argue such a brilliant idea!? needless to say, if you ever get the chance, visit the alps in switzerland, they are truely amazing. we passed many many HUGE lakes, and every lake i saw hundreds of boats out and trolling. im not sure if anyone knows this, but catch and release is illegal in switzerland, they say the fish die a more dignified death if you whack them with a club on the head, then letting them go where they would die a slow painful death.... you got me but thats the rules. anyway i was afforded an opertunity to fly fish for about an hour while we waited for our trip to start, and there were litterally thousands of tiny, 4 to 6 inch browns on this creek sucking what appeared to be caddis. well i even went to the closest tackle shop and got the closest i could get to what it looked like the trout were taking, and i couldent get hit one.... anyway, ill add a few pictures of my trip, i do have some AMAZING pictures of me jumping a 67 foot cliff into the waterfall but im waiting for the company that guided us to mail them to my house here in germany, until then this is what i took form the truck when i woke up....

more to come!!

edit

[#0000ff]I thought maybe it might have been you in the attached video...doing some "varmint shooting" in Stan.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The shooters in this video were using a special 50 caliber sniper rifle that can "reach out and touch someone" at over a half mile. The footage is real...and graphic. Wouldn't wanna be wearing a turban on that mountain.[/#0000ff]
