I'm headed to challis tommorrow just wondering if Any buddy else is gonna be up there this weekend I'll be camped at deer gulch with a black bravada

how long are you going to be there? I am heading up sunday morning and leaving tuesday. We are pulling a trailor not sure if we are going to stay at deer gulch or right were the phersimeri comes into the salmon. I talked to the lady and the challis f&g office and she said its getting pretty hot right now so i hope we both do well.

I may head up there Sat. Is the Deer Gulch your talking about located at the confluence of the Salmon and Pasimeroi?

Also, is roe the only thing to use, or will flies work also? Anything else that might work?

deer gulch is down stream from were they meet. like a mile or so. its on the oposite side of the river. if i remember right its the one that has the wheelchair ramp.

I like to use roe the best, but we also use green and orange yarn. another thing is take your yarn and dip it into smashed up roe. so it coats the yarn.

Talked the GF in to taking off Sat. morning. We have a hotel room reserved and should be there until Sunday night. I guess we will see what happens. Just need some roe now and I am set.
