Yes I said early, on the water by 3:00..

The last few times I have got up to Jordanelle there have been a bunch of fish jumping inside the wake less water at the main boat ramp...

But as soon as the boats or light starts the jumping seems to stop...So this morning I got an early start to see what was up...

I fished at the boat ramp for the first hour and got some big trout, one brown was just over 25" and one of the bows was pushing 20" and all the bass was over 12"....

I moved to another spot to try for more bass and got the best day of this year so far, from 4:00 till 7:20 or 7:30 I boated 3 bass over 20" and 2 or 3 at 19" and 38 over 12" and 10 to 12 trout from 15" and up...

Then it slowed down and the bass got smaller some down to maybe 6" ...

The wind came up around 10:00 or so and by 11:30 I made my last stop and picked up 3 more bass over 12" ...
Just as I hooked the last bass I remembered the camera in the glove box that I put there on the last trip and only got a picture of the last bass....

All the bigger fish (trout and bass) all came before 5:30 ....[inline Jordanelle.jpg]

Nice job Cliff. Those docks hold a lot of fish. I've trolled through there many early mornings while the wakeboarders are sleeping it off and caught lots of really nice fish. Several giant Browns also. [cool]

Fishinfool : I have been having a ruff time getting any big bass this year or even finding very many 12" or bigger bass like years past so I was ready to try just about any thing....

SportfishinSteve : The last few time I have got up there like 5:45 or 6:00 I would see a few rising but they would stop as soon as the boats got on the water so I got there just a bit earlier...

Hit the shoreline at six and didn't catch my 18 in bass till bout 8:30. Most likely gonna be up again in the morning the wife got jealous and wants to go now. Hehehehehehehe.

Nobody told you? Huh, yeah Cliff has a key to the gate up there. Should probably attach it to the camera so he knows he has one at 2 in the mornin'[][:p]
