Here are the pics from the Knolls yesterday. Sorry for the delay, but I'm not very good with computers. My kids tell me that I'm like an old Timex in a digital world.

Hey thanks for the report! looks like some good fishing! Where do you get those triangularish orange jig-heads?

they are roadrunner jig heads and you can get them at Sportsmans. Awesome jig that catches a lot of fish[

The jigs with the white bass are indeed roadrunners and come in several colors. The jig in the catfish is a custom jig
that I got from Tubedude. Not sure what it's called.

[cool][#0000ff]Those triangular heads are from the "Minnow Head" mold. I make them in all sizes from 1/48 oz. up to about an ounce. They have the barb on the back, specifically to hold small tube jigs. But, they can be fished with any plastic. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I make them in many different colors too. The one in the kitty picture is also in many of the pictures I post, including one from my trip to Starvation yesterday. I use a size 4 hook on a 1/16 oz head, painted with red glitter and then with a chartreuse eye added. I fish them with either 1 1/2" or 2" tubes...red glitter upper and chartreuse pearl on the bottom. For some reason that is a killer color for almost all species on all waters.[/#0000ff]

Hey thanks guys, just to clear it up it was the one TubeDude makes. But i'll have to get some of those roadrunner jigs
.

[cool][#0000ff]I also make Roadrunners. I have 4 different "pony head" molds that I use to make different sizes and styles...from tiny flyrod runners up to 2 oz. ones for salt water and mack jiggin'.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Here are a couple of pics of the same color jig, in a roadrunner model. All of the best colors I use for small tube jigs in the regular heads I also make in the little bladed models.[/#0000ff]

That's a seldom seen shot, a trout and that watchband!
Cabelas has the roadrunners in a 25 pack for $9. White, Red and Chartruse in 1/16, 1/18 and 1/4 oz.
