A friend bought one of our Pontoon a few weeks back. He had the boat on top of his jeep here in the Salt Lake City or surrounding area.
Some one has stolen it.
This is a unique boat with allot of one of a kind features so will be easy to identify.

First off, it is the Dave Scadden Cardiac Canyon. Red, but we swapped frames so it has a one of a kind PURPLE anodized aluminum frame. It is 11 1/2' long and about 5' wide.
It has a platform also.

The final feature that can not be taken off is it does have a VIN number on the pontoon. The inner side of the pontoon toward the bottom.

It also has a cloth seat besides the molded plastic.

Man that sucks sorry to hear your buddie got jacked. Definately keep and eye on KSL, Craigslist and Ebay.
I know how he feels I had a !@#$bag smash my car window jack my float tube. Reminds me, have him check with his auto insurance company depending on his comprehensive coverage it they may cover it no cost and comp coverage dosent mess with your premiums.

Looks pretty unique red toons, purple frame, and a raised deck I fish once or twice a week i'll keep and eye out for it.

Having someone rip your toon off really sucks. Hope they catch em and get the rig back. Not to change the subject, but how do you guys get your toons up on top of the car in the first place ??? Is there a lifter out there that I am unaware of ????

The boats weight around 60 lbs. Sometimes I help but mostly they just pick it up and slide it on the Yakamas.

I might of seen it today(Sat) up at Chris cafe by pineveiw. Just took a glance at it as we walked in.it was in the back of a short bed truck.That all this old mind can remember about it.

That "purple" frame is not to common is it?

The Purple frame was stock for awhile on the Yellow boats, (then changed to red)
So, I had the purple frame, (on my Yellow) he had the blue (on his red). I like Blue and Yellow so we swapped.
The RED Cardiac Canyon on the other hand is rare. Allot of Green and Yellow out there.
