Huntington is a difficult reservoir to fish from the shore during the summer. Were there any boats up there and if yes did you see them catching any fish?

I saw a few boats and did not see anyone pull in any fish.
A couple of rafts, a few canoes. and one jon boat.
I did not see anybody pull out any fish from the boats nor the shore.

Nice pictures. It sure is great to see Huntington full. What were you using for bait?

We tried Worm, Worm and different kinds of Powerbait combo, Worm and different kinds of Marshmallow, PB by itself, Carp minnow, Garlic gravy, Mepps and Rooster tails.

I've never had any luck with PB on tiger trout. Between the worms and especially the carp minnows you should have gotten some hits if there were any tiger trout in the area.

Tiggies can be had from shore at Huntington without much problem if first you remember your dealing with the top pred in the pond so dont expect to catch much using products like silly putty (Power bait).
My advise is to stop at E and trap a few shiners before heading to H. The trick, cast your shiner nearly weightless so it sinks very slowly through the zone..
