I've been reading your guy"s post and was wondering what's up with the full moon. I was fishing at utah lake last year at night during a full moon and the fishing was great. my friend told me that a full moon made the fish get more active. we landed six chanels between 4 to 6 pounds and one 22' walleye. but i've read some of your guy's post and the full moon seems to be negative thing. can somebody help me explain why. Does it depend on the species of fish that you going after,what time it is etc,etc.

Did he say a full moon was bad for fishing at night or during the day? During the day I believe. I tend to fish rivers during the full moon periods rathr than lakes. Do a search on the net - there are many theories out there and many Solar/Lunar tables for best fishing times. Too much for one to really explain .
