I prefer crappie but they don't give you much of a fight and not much meat but the fight and taste it has to be walleye followed by wiper then chanel .never tried pike because I never caught any. trout to me at least is overrated except brookies but most are small. that's what i prefer for fresh water. salt water .... hmm! where do i begin

I'l put in my vote for Ahi Tuna. (Give it to me raw, with a little soy or teriaki...MMM good!)

d-mack, Don't forget the wasabi and hot sauce!! Yeah man!!

I voted for walleye and perch only because you don't list any salt water fish!

Sorry. I should have stated fresh water fish. But I asumed people would have figured it out by there not being any salt water fish in the pole selection. I know...weird.

Crappie, perch, 'gills for home cooking.

Catfish, hushpuppies and sweet tea at the all-you-can-eat joints back home in Mississippi.

Walleye is my favorite freshwater fish hands down but Kokanee are a chose second. If you would like you could go into your first post on this thread and edit it to say Freshwater fish or fish only caught in Utah, your call though. I'm not sure it you can edit the poll though. Good thread either way, thanks for starting it. WH2

I actually tried carp once, just to see. After letting it swim around in clean water for a day, it wasn't that bad. Not as good as a bass or perch mind you, but not bad.
