I am going to cutler tomorrow and I am taking my boat and launching from benson. I have read reports of sumerged trees and the sort. If anyone could tell me of areas to avoid that would be great.
This is my first time fishing cutler from a boat aswell and I will be trying some new stink bait a friend of mine got from down south. I would also like to try for other fish aswell so any tips there would be appreciated too!

Spent a lot of time running cutler in my boat, Its not bad when the water is all the way up but a 2 foot drop miss cutler will show her ugly head. If you leave benson and head down river there is a small island about seventy five yards down STAY TO THE RIGHT OF IT. if you go between the island and the shore you will wack some rather large stumps,its a little shallower going to the right but no stumps. The only really bad spot is just downstrean about 3/4 of a mile or so you will se a large bay on your right you will lso see a few stumps sticking out ... slow down and idle through untill you find the deep channell[which by the way si one of the deepest spots on the lake and thats where the big kitties are] get past the stumps and its not to mutch of a problem down th the dam.hope this helps let us know how u do.
