Today was my first time on this fork. I fished about 20 miles away from Atlanta. Jumping from spot to spot was productive. I was landing fish within ten minutes of being at most spots. I found that hiking down the steep slopes, and wading into hard to reach spots was worth the effort. Caddis variants, and hackled streamers were the most productive.

One of these days I am going to get a new camera that's worth a damn so I can back up these reports. All said, I was impressed by the fishing and the beautiful scenery.

Sounds like you did great. In past years, I have found that sometimes the fishing is better closer to Arrowrock, and for larger fish. Old timers say it is because they come out of the reservoir in the fall to feed on grasshoppers. Don't know about that, but it sure can be good. Thanks for the report. Mike

I will definitely check that area out next time. Thanks,

Idaho has too much great water to fish. Is that possible? So I will have to mostly enjoy the reports from the west side of the state. Get a camera soon![:p]
