I had a little time earlier, so i decided to go hit a close community pond. The weather was nice, and not too hot. I got there about 1:15, and cast out a worm harness with a senko 4' behind a water bubble. And i failed. Switched to some powerbait on the bottom and the skunk got me again. Tried various flies, jigs and got nothing. you could see many little minnows swimming everywhere. Tied on a bobber with about 3' of line, then some weights, and a hook with some gulp nightcrawlers from a jar. Got some bobber-action, but still couldn't get a fish. moved places for a few final casts and while i was retrieving it, i saw this big school of bluegills following my worm. Nothing actually tried to eat it. Dang skunk. Oh well, this guy by me caught 2 trout with powerbait, and theres a few kids also. Nice Day[fishin]
