Hey all,

I am new to the pontoon and boat world and need something to get out there to the lakes, ponds, streams and rivers. I was curious as to what pontoon's were the best thats affordable yet stable enough for a beginner. I would like anchor, swivel seat, storage, rod holder, cup holder and maybe a electric trolling motor mount. Any suggestions? Also, I'll be fishing steady river currents, no more than a Class 2.

Thanks!

I am all about reliability plus quality. Which means resale much higher when needed, so my answer is NFO

Made in the USA, Hi grade aluminum frames(lighter & stronger) Urethane or Bladderless (lighter and stronger, plus less effected by altitude or temp) Holds more weight. Very stable. Longest warranty out there.

Thanks for you reply.

I think as a beginner to pontoon's and rowing its a bit expensive. They are really nice boats and would like to upgrade to that but I think right now I'm going to go with a Creek Company ODC 920 Classic. Just so I can get used to everything, steering, paddiling, fishing while sitting down. That sort of thing.

Doesn't Creek Company have lifetime warranty? I don't know how many of you guys use the ODC 920 Classic, but if you have used it please post a reply and let me know what you think of the boat.

Thanks!

Fair enough. Lifetime on their workmanship, not on wear and tear.
I think Shig Speed has one.
The only thing I have heard is the seat is not that comfortable.
