first off sorry guys i havnt posted a challis chinook report yet as i have told some of you my computer has crashed and i dont have the money to fix it right now so all my posts i have to do from my ipod so i have no way to upload pictures right now but i promis as soon as i can i promis i will i have some really good pictures from last weekend.

second if you are a fly fisherman or an aspiring one looking to catch some fish on dry flys now is the time to do it on the southfork. i went up last night i got to the river at 5:00 pm and stayed till dark man i caught some fish i found a good riffle by hiese that was loaded with feeding trout every cast i had a rise. i was using two flies mainly a pmd cripple(a small yellow or pink mayfly) and a chernoble ant pattern that i put my own twist on ive been calling it the banana cream pie! but basicly any chernoble ant pattern with a yellow underside and tan foam always produces fish for me. i also caught a few fish on a yellow sally then i broke it off in a fishes mouth then 2 hours later i caught the same fish and got my fly back lol i thought that was awesome. so head up anywhere on the south fork hiese or above and giver heck gentlemen. oh and one mor thing there is a log down in the water by the falls in swan valley that has sunk three boats this week its on the left hand side by the falls so be very carefull when floating this stretch. this has sucked typing this much on my ipod so by[laugh]

You are forgiven in the simple facts that you wrote it all on your Ipod. Thanks for the updates.. I also caught some fish on the Southfork. I used a brown rubber leg with brown legs, and also hooked up a few times on lightning bugs.

You have the the money to drive, stay and fish up at Challis but not the dough to fix your computer..come on!![laugh]....just kidding, I know that fishing comes first (at least in my book). Thanks for the South Fork update. I just got a new fly rod and reel and am determined to do more than just drown worms....sounds like the perfect time to get out and learn something new!

I am wanting to make it up there and try my new fly rod. If you dont have anything going on maybe we could hit it together.

Was anyone hurt on the boats?

I'm sure it's not much different than texting...which is what everyone seem to do these days.

i have heard some of those kids can text over 70 words a minute... thats probly faster than i type on my computer.
[signature]
That's faster than 1/2 the people I work with talk !!!!!!!!

Is that using predicted text? That'll speed things up considerably. Still pretty ridiculously fast though.

Please excuse my ignorance but where is this?

"so head up anywhere on the south fork hiese"

S.E. Idaho, just outside Ririe ID.

Thanks!

I sure read about a lot of good fishing on that side of the state.

My wife does that all the time. It always gives us some good material to joke about later though.
