I don't know how or when but I am pretty sure I have pissed God off in a bad way. Here are the results of fishing trips since March.
5 trips to Starvation = 1 brown, 1 chub and 1 4" perch
3 trips to the Gorge = 1 2 pound koke
3 trips Utah lake = no bite
2 trips to Strawberry on the ice = no bites
1 trip to Willard = no bite
1 trip outta San Diego for Albacore = nothing

My question is, does anyone feel like taking the JIME challenge to prove me wrong. Did I piss off God or do I just not know how to fish anymore, or by coincidence I just keep picking the wrong day to fish. Are you up to the challenge ? I can only fish either Saturday afternoon or all day on Sunday.

The state fair is coming up soon, I'll see if we can get you permission to fish the kids pond!

Hang in there, I started off last summer that way, I was new to UT and I think I was hitting the right places at the wrong times. I am starting to learn to hit certain lakes during certain months and it has really helped me out. That sucks about the ocean trip, how long was the charter, I know you used to be able to get into them on a half day, these days 3/4 to multiple days is the ticket.

If your worried that you pissed off the fish gods, next time your at the lake....smear a little power bait on your forehead, kinda like the dot on Buddha's forehead. Red works best! I hear that is a sure fire way to get back on their good side.[]

see, i volunteered to help put those nets over the musky ponds at the Lee Kay center to kiss up to the fish gods. We'll see if it worked haha

I happen to know a secret remedy just for pissing off fish god: mix some snake's blood, crocodile's tear, virgin's urine...soak your face into it everytime before going out fishing....

Dude, it is time to go and do some fish meditation. Appease the gods that you have pissed off, sacrifice your marinated chicken, beef,and pork and spend time at the lake and have a BBQ. Then fish until you drop!!![:p]
