I am wanting to float the snake at Weiser. I am looking for areas to launch south of Weiser and take out near town. The spot I am looking at to launch is about 3 miles south of weiser on river dock road. Is this a public area? I see that the fish and game list a access area called "Roberts access area" is this spot I asked about called Roberts?
Now I need a take out spot. I see one place called "wildcat Island" at the mouth of the Weiser river. Is this a public area? I also see that the Fish and Game have an access area called "Old ferry road access area". It says it is 2 miles west of Weiser but I can't find it on the map. Does anyone know about these areas? Also how fast is the river there right now? Thanks Ron
