I have been involved in the creation of a new float tube bass club, Flotation Nation. We will be having our first tournament this Saturday (7/25/09) at Lake Murray.

The "nation" is still in its infancy, and we are trying to make it a fun, yet competitive club and series of events. You can find details about the club and the events at http://www.flotationnation.9f.com. If you are interested in participating, send me an email at nation@flotationnation.9f.com.

Thanks and tight lines.

P.S., I apologize about the ads on the site. There is no money in this for me, so I had to go with free hosting which means annoying ads and pop-ups.

Thanks for the suggestion. I may hold off for now. The club was actually born out of another site and forum, I just wanted to spread the word out here because it's a tube board. I have barely even looked at the other BFT sites.

Also, I linked the FN site (not to be Confused with "the effin' site") to this board, because I've gotten so much useful info here as far as upgrading my tube.

Peter805, thanks. I'm hoping it will be fun for everyone.
