Well caught this with a nightcrawler and looks like some kind of sucker or carp possibly a golden shiner not to sure.
Oh and Hi since its my first time posting.[Smile]

Caught in a NW PA state park. Only thought it might be a Shinner cause they are Pike and Musky waters and figured someone used it for bait and tossed it in cause they didnt want to take the bait home.

Oh forgot to add he is alittle over 9 inches long with the folded tail method used in PA.

Well i don't know what they are, but i catch them a good bit myself. Im from Cambria County in PA and i Fish at Glendale lake a good bit, which is where i will catch these things. It seems that i only get these lil turds when i am fishing for pike with smaller lures. Me and my family always called them Sewer Bass ever since i can remember. As for a scientific name lol, i have no idea what they are.

yes haha use it for bait... i catch these and use them for live bait for monster pickerel. they will deffinately work for pike and muskey...just make sure you have the gear to handle such a big bait.
