Full Version: New Boating Administrator Named for Southeast Ohio

COLUMBUS, OH- Noble County resident Cathy Janosko has been named area supervisor for boating programs in southeast Ohio, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Watercraft. She assumes her new duties August 2 as supervisor of the watercraft agency's Cambridge area office.

She first joined ODNR as a state park officer in 1985 and joined the Division of Watercraft as a state watercraft officer in 1986 assigned to the Cambridge area office. Janosko is a graduate of Milton-Union High School in West Milton, Kent State University and the National Park Service Ranger Academy.

In her position as supervisor of the Division's Cambridge area office, Janosko will be responsible for coordinating law enforcement, boating education programs and public relations efforts in southeast Ohio. She also will supervise watercraft patrol operations on southeast Ohio waterways such as the Ohio River, Muskingum River and various state park and Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District lakes.
