[cool]Went out to 33 hole after work on friday( about 1pm). As I was getting in the water with my tube I saw a good size boil at the mouth of the bay. When I got there the fish were already down. I tossed a rattletrap for a little bit and scored a 1.5lb striper. I then cruised over to another bay and saw alot of birds on the water. I also saw a few shad jumping and thought that something was going to pop soon. Sure enough, the boils stared about 60 yards away. I tossed a zara spook puppy towards the boils and hooked up. Within about 35 minutes I caught four more stripers averaging 2lbs. The boils would come and go all over the bay. I got alot of hits and had my lure knocked up in the air several times and even lost one treble hook to one fish. A pontoon boat then raced in to try the fishing and shut down all the action. I went back to shore because the clouds and lightning was getting closer( I think it was at Overton) and the wind picked up in a hurry. I kept three fish for tacos. I'll try again in a week.

Nice report. Sounds like a good time on the water! Heading out of town again for a while, when I get back I'll be headed for Lake Mead.

HA! I'm reading this post from the La Concha Beach Resort in La Paz, BCS. Temp about 102 degrees, fishing hotter!
How can I ever return to Lake Mead and it's small stripers after Dorado, Pargo, Sea Bass, etc. Report to follow.
