Well things didnt go as planned during the tx but it ended up being a great day.We blasted off from Chesterfrost and went up river. We started flipping and I caught a 15 incher.David then decided that it was payback for the last CBA and made 3 consecutive flips with 3 keepers coming into the boat!I thought to myself"Im not holding this net all day".We could tell that during the morning the flipping bite was dying.Every spot we had patterned it just wasnt working .We ran back down river and then ran up river.David wanted to try a ledge that had 12ft of water on it and he caught our biggest fish and later I caught a cull .I got hung up on 2 fish that might have helped but who knows. The last 3 hours we didnt catch a fish but like I said things didnt go as planned but it turned out great!Ended the day with 17.92 which was good enough for 4th place and a free entry fee for highest placing new team.
GEAR - 7'6 NUCLEAR FLIPPING STICK,7FT NUCLEAR JIG/WORM/C-RIG ROD.
20LB AND 17 LB TRILENE 100% FLOUROCARBON LINE
LURES-UNNAMED FOOTBALL JIG 3/4 ,1/2 OZ CUTTHROAT JIGS,SWEET BEAVER (PENETRATION)
