I thought the 18lbs'ers from American Falls Reservoir were nice fish, but now a new state record. What a birthday present for the women who caught it. It is 20lbs and 34.25".

That is one AWESOME fish! I'm definitely going to have try fishing down there sometime soon.

NICE, makes me wonder what the weight was on my 36"er Hybrid

The only thing that sux now is my fishing place will be packed with people.
It is a pretty awsome fish. The record was set in 1947 so it took 62 years to break it. If only my luck was that good.[crazy]

I hear ya. But, Like my case, the record could have been broken in the mean time by someone who might not know or care about a record.
Not taking anything away from Michelle.....THAT'S A BIG RAINBOW!

I've caught a bigger brown trout than that....in Idaho.

That is what I am saying. Not everyone reports MONSTER fish.
So how big...any pictures? I know there are VW size Brown in ID.

The big brown was just about 35 inches and almost 24 pounds! It was such a big fish!!!!
I've attached some pictures but still don't know how to shrink them on my mac, so sorry about the size!

Is that from Henry's Lake? Is it on your wall?
My goal this year is to get a fish on my wall from Henry's.
[signature]
Yes on where it was from, no on the wall.
I let it go. Here is the deal, I thought of maybe a coffee table out of it, BUT, we had just got there for a week long vacation. Two ice chest FULL of things we need to eat, so NO WHERE to store it.
I am more into the measurements, weight, color and then FIBERGLASS. I just think they look better.
This fish was able to die where it was living for SOOOOO many years.
And to add to all of this bull[

] It flew out of my hands when all was said and done. It was a little hard to hold onto.

I love that last bit of honesty at the end. I can't even think of the number of times that has happened to me.
