Do you mean the upper and lower pali
es lakes or pali
es res?
My son and I hiked into lower pali
es lake on Wednesday. The scenery was incredible but the fishing was very disapointing. I have heard stories of loads of fish taken from the creek and the lakes but we only managed to catch three little ones. The biggest was a 10 inch cutthroat. We had a great time but I was really sorry to miss out on the action. I talked to a buddy of mine who goes up there frequently and he has also been getting low numbers.
So to answer your question, if the lakes are your target...i would say go for the hike and scenery but don't expect a lot of fish. I have no idea about the reservoir.

The main lake has been fair if you are trolling. Rapala's or spinners......15-30ft down. You can also target the kokanee if you are trolling....
