Went out this morning and man what a day. Hit up some spots, however the first one was the best. Was catching them on the flats in shallow water in the back of coves all morning. Wore out the hooks on the zara spook jr. I stopped and lost count at 20. The water was 81 degrees, and the water was still. All were caught on zara spook jrs, and the same bait for all. carolina rigs did not work, period. Out of all of the fish half were keepers. There were others fishing the area and until they went to the topwater bite they weren't catching anything. There seems to be large pods of baitfish right now, and large groups of bass. Was just amazing, throw in the middle of one of these schools that were rolling twitch twitch BAM! Started @ 7:00 and got off the water @ 11:00.
