Sat. headed up to Hiwassee with the water up thinking the flippig bite would be on. It was kind of slow, but in the 1st few hrs. had 6-7 with 3 keepers with one 4# fish around willows with jig &amp; craw.headed to a point dropping into the channel &amp; quickly caught 9-10 with 3 more keepers on crank &amp; spinnerbait.<br />decided for the last couple of hrs. to find the edges of grass in 2-5 ft. &amp; really wore them out. caught the bigger fish on jig &amp; swimming a 10&quot; worm. Also caught a bunch on crank &amp; topwater.<br />Sun. wanted to really focus on those grass edges. Had a great time. Caught 30-35 on jig, worm, crank &amp; topwater. Best 5 around 18-20#. Big fish was a long skinny 5-13 on a jig in some brush next to the grass in 5-6&#39;. Water was up, about 83-84* with some current.
