Well, I failed miserably trying to catch some bass early this morning, so I hoped the crappie would cooperate. They did! I caught 2 dozen keepers and that many more throwbacks. I wanted to keep a limit for my sister-in-law, but miscounted and only kept 14. They ranged from 11" to 13.5". They came off of bluff structure on 1/16oz BG shads, pearl/chatreuse. They were 25-30ft. deep. I also caught 3 small spots, one small smallie, one small white bass and a 2lb. blue cat. Beautiful morning, very little wind and just the right amount of current.
