I just got a new crawdad trap a friend gave me and am looking for a good place to put it in that won't be too far. I noticed one website said there were a lot in deer creek. Has anyone tried to catch them there and if so where would the best place to catch some. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I live in Orem,

hey guy ive got a way to catch crayfish in creeks that works good...you get a seine net ..the ones that roll out with the weights on the bottom of them and the floaters on the top and a long handle on each end...you get one person on each end and have another guy stiring up the rocks just upstream of the net..the crayfish try to get away and float right into the net..we got over 300 doing this one day it works goody]

where and what size were the crawdads? I used to do that to catch suckers when I was a kid,

we would hold the the net at a slight downward angle and would get about 5 to 20 per scoop..the sizes varied from an inch long to lobster size..i like the small ones..you need current and arockey areas for this to work best..

Where in Utah can you get them like that?
